Fall 2023

There are many scriptures that reference being on the mountain top of God. To us here at Mountain Top, we find it to be a place of hope and healing through Christ. When we go to the Top, we can find rest and peace. Distractions seem to fade, giving us the opportunity to focus on what God wants rather than what we want. This seems to be a place that we search for solutions instead of the problem. Christ is that solution and all our needs can fade away as we trust in Him. There He will teach us His ways, and we will walk in His paths.

Spring 2023

Mountain Top has always been in God’s hands. From the beginning the central focus has been to raise up young men to become great men of God. Every day we seek to do the will of God! We do all we can to provide as normal a life as possible for all our residents as long or short a time they are with us. Developing a faith to believe they can become someone beyond what they have experienced is a foundation of our core beliefs. Our mission is to provide hope and healing for everyone we serve.

Summer 2022

Many of our residents came from tough situations. Home life was nothing to brag about. Being moved around from place to place, abuse, neglect, hunger, are just a few struggles they have experienced before coming to Mountain Top. But to hear them now, they say “I’ve never experienced a family until now”. Even telling judges “I don’t want to leave Mountain Top.” The difference? We make them feel loved. When they mess up, we don’t give up on them. The struggles and pains go deep, but love endures forever. The thought of never giving up, or I can do all things through Christ, never crossed their mind. But now, the truth of God’s Word is transforming their lives, and giving hope to those who seek after Him.

Springtime Workday Success!

Volunteers and church partners’ financial giving and hard work have helped us over the years to make an impact on the hundreds of boys who've come through our campus. Many of our graduates have become pastors, church leaders, musicians, community leaders, and hardworking community contributors. Our goal is to make each resident self-sustaining, giving back to the community that once provided hope for them.

This past week we had the privilege of hosting several churches for our workday here at Mountain Top. On Saturday, May 11th Subligna Baptist Church, McEachern Memorial UMC, Due West UMC, and Calhoun First UMC made such an impact on our boys as well as sprucing up our properly. The Entrance has become a picture point.

Our basketball court at the front of our property has been restriped and cleaned up by our volunteers this weekend. What a difference it makes when you play on a court with lines! Thank you all for your hard work!
